Time running out for US President

The US President promised to recover most of the lost jobs before 2010 end, at the time of election rallies two years back. The mid term elections are round the corner in US and the President may be finding it hard to explain the failures of the government in restoring the lost jobs till now.
The stimulus spends over two trillion dollars have not got the kind of push people expected out of him , and so the opinion polls are showing big drop in his government popularity. So expect some more political efforts by Obama and his team in the coming days, as a last ditch effort to pull back the lost popularity.
